For the sporty visitors amongst you, Cleethorpes has a great selection on offer including cricket and ten pin bowling. Make a visit to the fabulous Cleethorpes Leisure Centre with its large family swimming pool with aqua-glide and waves. Take advantage of the Fitness & Health centre including a gym, spa, sauna, steam room and purpose built aerobic hall. For those of you who prefer the quiet life, enjoy a spot of fishing in the ponds and lakes on the outskirts of the town or enjoy a bit of Pony trekking (restricted beach areas). Footy fanatics can enjoy a few hours of spectator sport at Blundell Park, the home of Grimbsy Town FC.
Extreme sports are becoming increasingly popular at Cleethorpes and nearby Grimsby. A huge stretch of Cleethorpes beach is designated as a kite zone, recognised as one of the best in the UK.
Kite Buggying is also very popular, a sport which takes advantage of the open space and the prevailing north easterly winds. If you love to be on the water then our resort is perfect for you as it provides the ideal conditions for jet skis and speedboats.
The Stage and Screen
The Parkway Cinema in Cleethorpes has an impressive nine screens with state-of-the-art projection and sound offering the widest possible choice of programmes to suit all tastes and ages. Live theatre can be enjoyed at the Grimsby Auditorium with a wide variety of nationally renowned artists and shows gracing the stage every week.
